I had the opportunity to trek through the lushes green rice fields in Eastern Bali. It was very peaceful and had some amazing views of the bustling jungle and the great Gunung Agung.
We were also able to visit Tenganan Village, which is one of the oldest and original, traditional villages here in Bali. A great cultural experience as well as a relaxing weekend away.

Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure used to mimic the effect of real brow hairs, creating the appearance of natural and fuller looking brows.
I had my eye on getting this done for a while. I was following a girl called Sarah on Instagram who has her own salon offering microblading amongst other things. This year I decided to take the leap and go for it!

Even though it's summer, I still love hearty, yummy, warm foods for dinner time. This time, I made a vegan chili with soy mince, chickpeas and tons of veggies. It's so easy to tailor this to how you would like it. You can use any vegetables you like, you don't have to stick to what I used. I just chopped up all the leftover veggies I had in the fridge to use up as they where on their way out.
You can also use any spices you have, I chose a Jamaican jerk mixed spice that I had and it worked out quite well!
