'The Kitchen'

Stop by The Junction House for an all-day breakfast and yummy lunch menu with an at home vibe, perfect to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak's streets.

I sat down and had lunch at The Junction House in Seminyak recently with a girlfriend of mine and had a feast! The Junction House serves up a menu of All-Day Breakfast style dishes, plus a lunch and dinner menu. Packed full of Asian and International style dishes. The dishes are all Halal and there is veggie, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu.

'The Dining Room'

The coolest thing about this restaurant is it is based on the concept of it being a homey environment, somewhere you can feel comfortable, enjoy time with your friends and family, and feel at home. They have achieved this by setting up the decor in the place, like a House (hence Junction 'House').
The dining areas are styled as a kitchen, living room, office space, dining room, patio 'garden' and even a bedroom!
The interior is influenced by a classic French house and all the small details have been really thought about. If you open the draws in the kitchen, you will find cutlery, I did a bit of nosing about!
I love the small details which bring this place together to feel like a real artsy, cosy home. The staff are super friendly and attentive, which add to the overall vibe of the restaurant.

'The Rainbow Libary'

We started off with a selection of their appetizers which were very delicious, I loved the falafel especially! However, they all came with the same sauce and I think perhaps a different one for each would have suited them better. But still yummy!

Next up we spoiled ourselves by getting a main each and a salad, The salads are huge and defiantly are big enough to go by them selfs. I loved the truffle oil pasta and the brown rice pumpkin salad. We couldn't finish all of this so we had to take away!

Even though we were stuffed from Lunch, we couldn't say no to their famous French-style crepes. We were told the crepes are one of the most popular desserts! Of course, we had to do the taste test...It was delicious! We had the banana and Nutella - the perfect combination.

Overall I enjoyed my visit to The Junction House and would definitely go back, especially for the crepe as an after dinner treat! If you're down in Seminyak looking for a great place for brunch, you should go and check it out - For a taste of a home away from home, while on the beautiful island of Bali.
