My Week in Photos #1

Saturday 2 August 2014

This week has been a fun but also sad one.
Sadly my Grandfather passed away this week. My cousin posted this wonderful photo of her and my grandpa at her wedding, it put a smile on my face.

I got my nails done in London after work,  i have found this great salon in Godge Street, just off Oxford St!

The first photo, I took while laying in bed looking out the window. That is one of my favorite times of the day, just before i gets dark, seeing the sky in a whirl of pretty colors.

It was Magnums 25th Anniversary and the pimped out the central line train I catch to work with their logo and a sign saying go to Selfridges. So I headed down their at lunch time and found you could make your own magnum ice cream, I didn't try it out but now i wish i did!

In the Metro paper, i came across this article called 'Rush Hour Crush' i thought it was cute seeing what people had written about people they regularly see in rush hour london & want to reach out too.
Never know i might find my dream man looking for the 'mysterious blonde' on this page :)

On Friday I went to an outdoor pop up cinema screen. They showed Dirty Dancing and when the famous lift came on, everyone was up dancing and catching each other, it was such a laugh and great to see everyone get together!

I Style: Festival Lace

Last year I bought a fantastic blue lace dress from Boohoo. I was exited to see they had bought it back this year! I decided to buy it again, this time in white.

Seeing as we are in the midst of festival season, I thought it would be perfect to share with you my lacey festival inspired look.

All Black Everything | Style Essentials

Wednesday 19 February 2014

I made this style board recently and wanted to share it with you guys.
I would wear this out casually everyday.
You could even dress this look up with different shoes and/or top to create a night look.

What do you think?

Fashion Scout | LFW

Hello Bloggers :)

When i went to Fashion Scout London's fashion shows, i took some photographs and here they are!

These two collages feature my favorite collections.
Apu jan's 'Turbulence' AW14 was the first show of the day.
I really liked Jan's collection, as it was simple yet very well made.
It featured a lot of knitwear; which he is known for, teamed with unique modern prints.

I also really liked London College of Fashion graduate, Veronica Basharatyan's 'Heidmork' collection.
The collection is named after a nature reserve in Iceland. I can see the link by the color palette of the collection, icy blues, cream, forest greens, contrasted with bright reds.
I liked her use of print and fabrics of leather wool and silk highlighting the collection.
I also liked the blue sparkly lips the models had.

Here are some extra photo's i took throughout the day

Even though by the end of the day my feet where hurting, I had a fantastic day and would love to go to Fashion Scout again!
