2017 has been an enjoyable year for me. I've been in Bali, Lombok, Gili Islands, Malaysia and the UK. I've spent time with my loved ones and also learnt how to code! I thought I would compile my photographs from this year as a round up of whats been going on.

When your organised and in a focused mind set, you can wizz through that to do list that you've been putting off so you can watch just 'one more' episode of that show on Netflix. You'll feel so much more accomplished and in control when you follow this!
Ive gotta say i'm not perfect, sometimes even i need a reminder to get my arse into gear and stop procrastinating and get sh*t done. Here's how...

Christmas is only 3 weeks away, Woohoo! I have not spent Christmas home in 3 years now, I miss the christmasy vibes, the Christmas music in the store, cold weather, Christmas TV and movies and the family gathering together. I will be missing out again this year as I am in Bali, but i thought i would put together a gift guide for you if you're stuck on what to buy. This is also a bit of a wish list on my end! haha. Everything i have found is £20 or less, so you don't have to break the bank this Christmas.

When travelling to and around South East Asia and beyond, you would most likely have had a layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I've passed through the airport loads of times but never ventured further than Terminal 2. So this time round, I thought I better make the most of my time there and get into the city. This is my itinerary of what to do with 48 hours in the city of Kuala Lumpur.

I'm back in Bali after spending 4 months at home in the UK. While I was at home working, I couldn't help but feel the familiar tug of wanderlust and I spent many hours a day dreaming over where I want to see next.

I have always said i would love to do a skydive but i would never have the guts to do it. However that all changed when my friend won a skydive for the both of us. I honestly still can't believe that i did this! We went skydiving with Sydney Skydivers, jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft high, with a view of the blue mountains, Sydney city skyline and the coast.
When you arrive you meet your skydive partner and they explain all the safety procedures and instruct you on what will happen and what you need to do. You will be fitted with your harness and all equipment.

I lovveeeee Indian food, the flavour and all the spices are perfect for me! It is so easy to vegan'ise an Indian dish, most already are. Lentils are a dietary staple in the regions of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal and so verstile with many ways to use them and so many different dishes to create with them. This curry is super easy to make and can be altered to your taste and any vegetable would work in this dish. This is a mild curry, perfect if you don't like hot dishes.

When you travel Thailand one of the things on everyone's bucket list is to see the gentle giant that is the Asian Elephant. We all know (or should know) that the parks which offer to the ride the elephants are very unethical and they are kept in bad conditions, being chained in a spot for hours, tortured into performing and taking a heavy weights on their backs for hours and hours on end with no rest.
If you want to experience these beautiful creatures up close then choose an elephant sanctuary. There are many so be sure to do your research before choosing.
I visited B.M.P Farm Elephant Project located just outside of Chiang Mai. When i visited they had 5 elephants in their care. We dressed in traditional Mahout (name for someone who works with elephants) clothing and bamboo hats, and where given a bag full of bananas. We fed the elephants and walked around the stunning farm with them, made traditional herbal Thai medicine for the elephants and then bathed them in the natural pool.

Took a day trip to Norwich for lunch, shopping and an explore. Norwich has a great vibe and loads of places to eat for a vegan! Even found an all veggie/vegan supermarket. Managed to pick up tempe, which i've been looking for for ages!
There are some great little independent shops. I found this lovely tea and coffee shop where they had all the herbs and flowers in jars and the would measure out loose tea for you to take home and also a variety of coffee beans which they could grind for you also. I was recommended by a friend of mine to go to Head in the Clouds, a kind of hippy shop. I loved it there! Bought some beautiful Tibetan prayer scarfs, crystals, jewellery and incense. Also a new small incense burner, perfect to take travelling.

This curry is so easy to make and it is so yummy! I used to make it all the time at home in Bali and it's always gone down very well. It takes about 10mins to cook and it's full of flavour and all plant based. You can really use any vegetable you like for this curry, just chuck in whatever you have left in the fridge. I don't use any proper measurements for my recipes as i just eyeball it and go on what flavour i like. Like i said this is so easy to do so you can figure it out to match your taste and how much curry you wish to make.

We all go through periods of sadness, worthlessness, pain, heartbreak and loneliness. Some for longer then others. During those times, sometimes it can be hard to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The feelings can succumb you, sometimes leaving you to think there is no way out and the thoughts of worthlessness and hate can out weigh the positive.

My skincare routine has only changed a little since the last post I did, But i am loving some of the new things i have in my facial skincare routine. My skin has never been better! Also knowing it is all cruelty free makes it 100 times better. All these products are bought off the high street for a great price, so it won't dent the wallet too much.

1. You will meet some of the best people you've ever met in your life, free spirits who all want the same as you. To experience this world, be free and have fun. Some will be lifelong friends and a place on the map to visit later on.
2. Immersing yourself into other cultures will really open your eyes to the world and you will feel a deeper connection to your fellow human, appreciating the differences between us all.

I loooovvveee sushi! I was never into fish before i was Vegan so i've always gone for veggie sushi (It's the best). I don't have a sushi restaurant close enough to me to order food so i started making my own at home. It is super easy and fun! It can be a little time consuming, but defiantly worth it in the end.
You can have any type of filling you want. For this dish i went for a teriyaki mushroom maki, mixed vegetable maki, cucumber maki and a red pepper maki. It's great to make this if you're having some friends round, because all this sushi is so filling! Perfect for sharing and showing your friends your sushi making skills. Read on down below to see how to make this yourself.

When you're 20 years old it's easy to have that feeling of 'I'm not where i should be right now' collapse over you. You see your friends working away hard at uni, some have full time jobs, some are even starting their own families. You could have dropped out of uni, taken a gap year or fallen into an unfulfilling job, but that by no means, is a sign of you not succeeding or 'Not where you SHOULD be'.

I've been really into smoothie bowls recently. A great way to get a nutritious, filling and tasty breakfast. They are completely customisable to your taste, you can make any smoothie for the base and have whatever toppings you enjoy on top.
This recipe i will share with you is packed full of good stuff. Chia seeds have 64% more potassium than a banana, antioxidants, fibre, calcium and protein to name a few. Pineapple is a rich source of vitamin c and reduces inflammation. Papaya is good for the skin and improves digestion. Mango is high in iron and aids in weightless due to its high count of vitamins and nutrients which leave the body feeling fuller for longer. Also the fibrous fruit boots the digestive function of the body by burning additional calories. Strawberries are packed with antioxidants which are good for your heart health and lowers your risk of infections and some forms of cancer. Banana's boost energy levels and contain vitamin B6 which regulates blood glucose levels and can help in times of stress and combat feeling cranky.
Mix all these super foods together and you have on super smoothie bowl! Read on below to find out how to make a vegan smoothie bowl.

I have driven past Pomelo many times but never had a chance to go in, one morning in search of good breakfast I thought I would give it a go.
They have a great selection on the breakfast menu, for an average Canggu/Berawa price. After receiving my food, i defiantly think you get more for your money, compared to other places I have tried you don't get half as much food as you do here for the same price.
I went for the 'Breakfast Package' where you choose any dish off the breakfast menu and included you get choice of tea or coffee, fresh juice and a fruit salad for 95.000IDR - £5.35.
The food was very tasty, fresh and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the café itself has a beautiful shabby chic type deco and also has a pool!
I would defiantly recommend this café for an appetising, filling breakfast to start you off right, before hitting the surf.

Gunung Kawi is an 11th century temple in Bali, north east of Ubud. Beautiful shrines were carved into the rocks of the cliff face. It serves as a temple, but also a shrine for the Kings of the past. There are small rooms carved into the rocks which are used for meditation.
Gunung Kawi is an important source of holy water because the Pakerisan River that runs through the temple and is believed to transform into holy water as it flows through.
Walking around this sacred grounds, you get a sense of peace fall over you. Surrounded by rice fields and a vast jungle, you absorb the beauty of the nature that encompasses you.

When I first heard about the Tiny House Movement and Van Life Movement I instantly fell in love.
The idea of living in a small, simple space matched my yearning for a minimalist lifestyle, but also the fact that these homes can be moved, so you travel with your home and choose to park your house where ever, in front of a lake, in a forest, overlooking the mountains.
My goal is in the future to travel in a van that I have refurbished and designed myself. Travelling through Europe and perhaps an even longer road trip from the UK to South East Asia! I'm not sure how I would plan that as of now, but it is an idea that has lingered across my mind a few times.
I also love the idea of building your own environmentally friendly tiny home. Harnessing solar energy to power my home, repurposing old wood and furniture to build and adorn it, using a compost toilet. You will also have less utilities to pay, paying a small rent for the land you choose to live on. But the best part, like I said before, is just being able to have your home where ever you like.
Here are some of my favourite small homes and van life conversions that inspire me.

It's so easy now a days to get caught up in the materialistic, 'fake' world that social media can be and see airbrushed, perfectly picked photographs and 'Instagram Worthy' settings, that it is easy to feel inadequate.
Too much comparing and wishing you had this and that and forgetting that what you have is perfectly okay and beautiful. For this is the vessel we where blessed with, so we need to nurture and accept and love what we have.
Sometimes we must remind ourselves to not get caught up in that and start loving and looking after ourselves a bit more, I know I need a reminder every now and then. Here's my 6 tips to keep you doing just that.
