At the end of last year, I had the most special trip to the Mother temple in Bali.
Besakih temple is the largest temple in Bali and situated on the slopes of Mount Agung, the largest volcano on the Island. All temples on the island point towards here. It is a very powerful and spiritual place.
I was blessed to be guided through this journey with Shelly Towns and the Mangku. We were taken through the temple with each part being explained to us and wisdom being shared from Mangku.
At each spot, we laid offerings and prayed. It was such a calming experience. Each step you become more connected and aligned ready for the healing later on.
Once at the top of the temple we are guided to a private area where we sit to meditate while the Mangku gets prepared for the healing.
Shelly and Mangku work together in this divine healing, their energies integrating as one while connecting to yours. A powerful release, a surrender, a letting go...Anything can come up for you but in short for me it was profound.
I felt so held, safe and supported.
After the healing you are able to sit on the grass just outside of the healing area and connect with Mother Earth and Mama Bali in the greenery, enjoying the view and contemplating your experience.
